A high speed impeller with curved plastic paddles works in a single stage machine. The snow is sucked into the machine and forced out of discharge chute at a distance. As these machines are of light weight they are not suitable for removing snow over a foot.
The two stage machine removes the snow in two separate stages. In this system, the augur breaks up the snow and gets them into the impeller and finally blows of discharge chute. You can use this type of machine, if you are located in a place receiving more snowfalls at a time.
A snow thrower machine can save you time and protect you from getting back ache. Many leading manufacturers like Toro, Sears-Craftsman, John Deere and Honda vie each other in providing a wide range of models. For shopping a snow thrower, you can wait for an opportune time, for the end of winter season and watch for offer of sale.
