Indian Maharaja – A pan-India Experience

The Indian Maharaja Luxury train is especially designed for those who wish to experience a pan-Indian royal journey on wheels. Unlike other luxury trains who take a circular journey across 2-3 states, Indian Maharaja offers a wider canvas for the discerning travelers to explore India. The journey combines must-visits from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi enabling the guest to soak in the best India offers.
The train
The Indian Maharaja houses 21 coaches of spoiling luxury with 11 passenger cars having 8 patrons each. Each coach has 4 compartments or coupes offering a choice of beds ranging from king size to twin beds. Each compartment is a mini suite in itself with attached shower, and sitting area. You can socialize, connect with the world through Internet, talk to a friend on telephone, play cards, or simply soak in the scenery through large windows.
The train also houses a myriad of facilities including conference and meeting cars, lounges, bars, restaurants, gym and spa. The meals are prepared with the freshest and finest local produce in the restaurants while the bar offers a range of fine wines from around the world. The pampering spa is a well resourced one with Ayurvedic and herbal massages on offer. No matter, what's on your mind, the courteous staff will lovingly and swiftly serve the orders. That's how you feel like a contemporary royalty!

The journey starts from Mumbai and takes you to Aurangabad, Udaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Agra and culminates the experience in Delhi - the capital of India. Smack your lips with the endless varieties of zesty and spicy Indian foods. Catch a glimpse of the World Heritage sites at Ajanta and Ellora in Maharashtra. Be enchanted by the many of Rajasthan's forts and palaces as also with its history and diverse culture. Rub shoulders with Indian folks the discovery of whose customs is a perpetual work-in-progress.
